Communication Committee

Purpose

The goal of the Communication Committee is to enhance communications to all Association members and non members through the website and publications.  The committee will oversee the publications and the website content to provide high quality media to promote the Association’s goals and to be a resource to our members.  The committee will consist of Publication Subcommittee and Website Subcommittee who will be responsible for coordinating with the outside consultants.  The Publication Subcommittee will be responsible for developing the outline and schedule for each publication, soliciting authors to write articles for the publication, provide editorial review to assure high quality material, and coordinate with Association staff.  The Website Subcommittee will be responsible for coordinating with other Association committees to assure consist and current reports from the committees, coordinate employment advertisements policy, and coordinate with Association staff.

Activities organized by the Communication Committee include NC Currents magazine, email newsletters, photo contest and press releases.
