We are looking for a few good men and women to serve on the NC AWWA-WEA Board of Trustees. If you are interested please fill out the Willingness to Serve Form and email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than July 1, 2010. In addition to the form, please include a current resume or detailed description of the nominee’s professional experience and service to NC AWWA-WEA.

New Member Management and Online Registration System
Members should have already received an email with their log-in information for the new NC AWWA-WEA registration system.  This system will also allow some flexibility for members to have access to certain information.  This function is still under construction and we will be sending out information as functions become available.  Once we  personalize the member access, members will be able to access their profile and change their passwords to something they can easily remember.

With this new system, the only way that you can access member pricing is by using your designated login information.  Usernames and Logins are designed to be used only by you.  They are tied to your membership record in our database, therefore they should not be shared with anyone else.  These records will also be tied to our tracking of your Contact Hours/PDHs for our events.  So please understand that if you share your login information with anyone else you run the risk of not being credited with the credits that you need to maintain your state certifications.

As you are using this new system to register, you will notice the following changes:

•    Group Registrations - You can no longer register more than one
person in a single transaction.  To register several individuals you
will need to have their usernames and passwords.
•    Payments Options - For those of you that wish to pay by check,
we now accept E Checks online.
•    More Online Options - We are making State Level Association
Membership (New & Renewals), Book Orders,  Job Ad Submissions
, and much more available for online purchase/processing.
•    Company/Organizational Memberships – In order to get your
employees access to member pricing you must initially submit
1 application for them for one event.  After we have set up their
profile appropriately, they will have a username and password
they can use for the next time they register.

If you should have any questions or concerns about this new system, do not hesitate to contact the NC AWWA-WEA staff.  We are here to provide any guidance that is needed as we integrate this new system.

NC AWWA-WEA Switches to E-Checks
Please be aware that beginning on March 15, 2010, NC AWWA-WEA will be using E-Check for all paper checks that we receive. By submitting a paper check you are hereby authorizing NC AWWA-WEA to initiate an one-time debit entry to the bank account indicated on the paper check for the full amount of the fees due for your payment. If you have any questions about this process please call the NC AWWA-WEA office at (919) 784-9030.
