Formal presentations or panels are given by those well informed on the selected water or sewer topic. Topics covered in 2019 include: 3D Manhole Inspection (Cary), Unmanned Aerial Survey Drones (Greensboro), Capacity Assurance (Raleigh), Smart Meters (Fayetteville), and Unidirectional Flushing Techniques (Charlotte). Topics covered in 2020 will include: Large Diameter Tunneling vs. Micro Tunneling (Charlotte), Resilient Infrastructure (Wilmington/Coastal), Lead and Copper Rule Updates (Raleigh), SSO Best Practices (Asheville/Mountains), and our day-long seminar on 21st Century Solutions to Utility Operations (Greensboro). These meetings also feature water and sewer regulatory updates. Please review our calendar and contact our Secretary, Eric Howard (Eric.Howard@ci.charlotte.nc.us), to RSVP to a meeting.
